For the past few months, we’ve been promising to launch a mass mailing effort directed at Sarah Wayne Callies, to show her how much we love and appreciate her. It’s been a long time coming, but we’re very happy to announce that today, we are officially launching the SWC mass-mailing effort, which we fondly call “Where in the World are the Sarah/Dr. Sara fans?”
ETA 1-28-08: We now have postcards representing
- Take a picture of a paper crane against a background that represents the country or place you are from. Be creative! You can choose a popular landmark from your country, an item that is native to your country, or even a flag of your country.
- Convert this picture into a “postcard” by adding design elements (use Photoshop or any other design software out there) such as a short message (e.g. Save the Good Doctor, Thank You Sarah!, or We miss you, Sarah!), a border or frame or any other things you want to add to enhance the picture. Then indicate somewhere in the postcard the place where you are from.
- Print the “postcard” in your local photo developing store (4x6 is the ideal photo size, though you can make it smaller or bigger).
- Write your message to Sarah on the back of the photo then send it to ANY of the following addresses:
Sarah Wayne Callies
c/o William Morris Agency
Kenny Goodman
151 El Camino Dr.
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
c/o Jodi Gottlieb
8409 Santa Monica Boulevard
West Hollywood, CA
90069 USA
Tip: You may send the postcard the traditional way (no envelope necessary), but we suggest that you send it inside an envelope. That way, you can also send a separate fan letter to Sarah (if you wish) and there’s a lesser risk that the postcard will get lost in the mail.
We know it sounds complicated, so we’ll make it easy for those (like me) who are not photoshop-savvy. Just take the picture, send it to us (guinevere_79@yahoo.com), and we’ll convert the picture into a postcard for you! Don’t forget to tell us where you’re from and the message you want to be placed on the postcard, ok?
We encourage you to share your postcards in the comments section of this entry. Here are some samples to inspire you:
